Born from determination and vision, SAHAS is an education initiative where industry experts and educationists come together to share knowledge, perspectives, and insights in finance, markets, and fintech. It is a space designed not just for learning, but for questioning, debating, and refining ideas.

At SAHAS, we believe that true understanding comes from dialogue. By encouraging debates and discussions, we help learners navigate the complexities of finance and technology, while also providing structured academic content to build strong foundations.

Visionary & Education Advocate

Sonia Madaan lives in Mumbai with her husband and their two sons. After working in industry and education, she dedicated her time to nurture her family while continuing to pursue her passion for learning.

Having spent part of her childhood in rural India, she believes that some of the brightest minds in the country remain untapped due to lack of exposure and guidance. With a Master's Degree in Finance and CA Inter qualification, she brings academic expertise and a deep commitment to bridging the gap between education and industry requirements.

Her vision gave birth to SAHAS — a platform that embodies courage, dialogue, and enterprise, designed to democratize education and empower learners to transform society.

Dr. Bimlesh Sharma

Dr. Bimlesh Sharma

Academic, Researcher & Poet

Dr. Bimlesh Sharma is an academic, researcher, author, and poet with over two decades of experience in the banking and financial services industry.

His professional journey spans risk management, regulatory compliance, treasury and market operations, foreign exchange, regulatory reporting, payments and settlements, and retail banking , bringing a strong practical perspective to his academic work.

An alumnus of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) and National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Dr. Sharma is associated with the Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research.

His research interests lie at the intersection of financial literacy, financial inclusion, banking behaviour, financial risk, cyber-fraud, cybersecurity, and regulatory frameworks, with publications in both national and international journals.

His doctoral research examines the risks associated with financial inclusion in the absence of adequate financial education, proposing frameworks for understanding banking involvement, financial assimilation, and financial activity.

Beyond academia, Dr. Sharma is also known as “Bimal the Poet”, a literary voice exploring human experiences, society, nature, and contemporary life.

His creative work complements his academic and industry expertise, reflecting a commitment to making knowledge practical, relevant, and accessible.
